October 11: Life coach and creativity encourager, Laura Thoma, will present "The 7 stages of Creativity." We will discover how creativity begins, how it slows and how to get it moving again. This is applicable to all aspects of life, not just weaving.

November 8: Natasha Lehrer from Esther's Place tells her story: "From Sheep to Chic"-One Girl's Tale of Shepherding, Entrepreneurism and Artistry. This is a great chance to learn about and encourage a local fiber industry.

December 13: Holiday Pot Luck Party at Carol L's Home. Member's only-Refer to your membership directory for address.
Don't forget your item for the Color Challenge, "That's a Fiber of a Different Color." Interaction of different colors in weaving.
January 10: "Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall. Who has the Fairest Jacket of all?" Local artist, Heather Winslow, has them in abundance. Her morning program will expand to an afternoon workshop where she will go into more detail on yarns, patterns construction techniques, buttons and buttonholes, lining tricks, and finishing details.

February 14: What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with M&Ms, Market, Munchies, Movies and More? This is another guild participation event. Market-Garage Sale: Bring it down, pass it around! Munchies: there is sure to be some chocolate there. Movies: we will find something if we need it. What we really want is more from you! Have you explored a weaving or weaving related subject in depth and want to share what you have discovered? Sign up for a 5 to 15 minute time slot and be our "Lecturer-for-a-day."

April 10: Weaving to Felt - We are challenging Tammy D to develop her biceps even more with "Weaving to Felt." Her creations always inspire us to think a bit outside the box.

May 8: Donna Kallner entitles her lecture "A Complete Fabrication"It will be fun to hear how she unravels that! Following that is our second workshop for the year: "Fiber Mojo for Weavers." We will have a chance to sample some versatile surface design products and techniques you can use to transform handwoven leftovers into fresh fun fabrics. We will have a "dry" day at the library and a "wet" day at Ellen H's home. More details to follow.

June 12: Study Group Presentation by Fox Valley: "Color and Weave." There is sure to be some great weaving, great dialogues and maybe a colored cat? You never know with the Fox Valley group.
