Study Groups ... A Great Way To Learn and Share Weaving Experiences

IPW has three active study groups

Fox Valley, ArchiTextural, and Traditional Weave



Fox Valley Study Group

Fox Valley meetings are the first Wednesday of month at 9:30 am at member homes. Contact Judy M. direct or through the email link on our home page for more information.

They presented their year of "pick-up" study at the January 2008 monthly meeting.

Traditional Weave Study Group

 Jan talked about the positive aspects of Summer & Winter weaves and presented her shawl.

The Traditional Weave Study Group meets monthly on the third Tuesday morning in Hinsdale. Breakout groups meet first for specific studies then the full study group gathers. Contact Nancy W. direct or email through the website for more information. New members are always welcome.

ARCHITEXTURAL STUDY GROUP 

Members presented their year of study and weaving at the June '07 Guild Meeting.

Their beautiful woven projects are related to Chicago architecture. This year's subject was "Weft or Wright". Projects inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright designs.
